This is my new website! It's been over 5 years since the site got a makeover. Thanks to redweb.com for posting your site to Open Designs and making your template open source!
About this site
The only thing constant is change. This has never been more true when it comes to websites, and web design. The first website I built was in 1996, using Netscape Composer. Since then I've learned Dreamweaver to design most website. I've dabbled in iWeb, MobileMe, and RapidWeaver. And let's not forget the many blogs and wikis that have been created an abandonded over the years. Where to put all this stuff? How to keep track of everythng? There's simply too much out there to be able to consolidate the many splinters and phases of my life. As far as the Internet goes, I'm spread pretty thin.
This site is an attempt to bring everything together into one place. Apple will soon shut down MobileMe and iWeb as a web hosting service, most likely in June 2012. When that day comes, I'll figure out how to transfer these sites to joelsolomon.com. Until that day comes, however, I'm going to keep my files and photos hosted somewhere else.
