The Drive-In movie theater reached its peak in the 1950's, when there were over 4,000 Drive-Ins across the country. There are now less than 500 left. We recently heard a news item that our local drive, the Cinderella Twin, might be closing for good after this summer (read the news story here). Not only did it sadden us, but it inspired us to make more trips to the Drive-In this year. You know you're getting old when you go the the Drive-In and actually WATCH the movie!!
