This gallery features old photographs that I scanned with my recently purchased HP Officejet Printer/Copier/Scanner. I wanted to see how it handled image scanning for clarity and ease of use. CLICK HERE to see more.
This was the first year that Jake really got into Christmas. He couldn't wait for Santa to bring him presents! We spent Christmas Eve at my parents' house in Boulder. We awoke on Christmas Day to find snow falling. A white Christmas! The day after Christmas Jake and I went to Winter World to explore the indoor fantasy land. It's been TEN years that Leah and I have cut down our tree at Buffalo Creek Forest. Although we didn't always bring a camera, I've located six year's worth of ventures to the woods. CLICK HERE or on the photo to see a slideshow.
Hard to believe it's been a year already! Jake turned TWO years old on November 12th. He continues to grow and change. This year we spent Sunday brunch with Leah's Dad and Joyce, and then my Mom and Dad came over in the evening to celebrate at Chuck E. Cheese. It was a long day for Jakey, what with all the stimulation and cake, but he enjoyed it, that's for sure. CLICK HERE or on the image to see a slideshow.
This has been a good Fall Break. I went to London to visit brother Mark, Madi, and Zelda for five days. Then came home just in time to enjoy Jake's first Halloween trick-or-treating experience. Click below to see and read more.
I hope you enjoy these pictures of the first Halloween that Jake really got to experience. Oh sure, technically, this is his third Halloween, but it's the first one that he got to go trick-or-treating, and understand the beauty of getting candy from strangers. CLICK HERE or on the photo to see a slideshow. I also made a Halloween movie, too.
Fall is upon us, and a chill is in the air. In early October, we took Jake to Four Mile Historic Park for the annual pumpkin festival. There were horses, crafts, foods, and lots of displays about pioneer life. We had a grand time. CLICK HERE or on the photo to see a slideshow.
In July, we had our first camping trip with Jake to Rocky Mountain National Park. What was supposed to be a two-night stay turned into one, due to a rough first night in the tent. But we still managed to have a good time. We stayed in a group site with four other families in the Glacier Basin Campground. CLICK HERE or on the photo to see a slideshow.
This summer we took or first vacation as a family to Buena Vista, Colorado. It's a quaint little town on South Park region of the state. Jake got to see his first parade down Main Street, and sit along the riverside at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. CLICK HERE or on the photo to see a slideshow.
Leah and Jake traveled to Cincinnati in June to visit her Mom and Larry. Jake helped Larry celebrate his 65th birthday. Jake got to play with some new toys, and ran around (mostly) naked most of the time. CLICK HERE or on the photo so see a slideshow.
Our little boy continues to grow and change. Here are some photos from the last three months that prove just that. Included are pictures from City Park, Jake's 2nd haircut, and a trip to see the Sky Sox. CLICK HERE or on the photo to view the slideshow.
We celebrated another first in Jake's life in March 2007. A boy's first haircut is something that should be remembered and documented for posterity. It is in this spirit that I bring you MOVIES and PHOTOS of the event, along with some other goodies to share.
